About 'Another Time, Another Place'

Drawing inspiration from the rock and pop of the 1980s, 'Another Time, Another Place' was influenced by artists including Def Leppard, Richard Marx and Whitesnake, alongside the melodic sensibilities of 80s pop.
 

Across the EP, melodic guitars, soaring hooks and vocal-driven arrangements come together with heartfelt songwriting, reflecting an era when rock and pop regularly crossed paths and melody remained at the centre of the song.
 

The EP also includes 'Destiny', the first song ever released by Star Vision. Originally issued as a standalone single in 2022, the track marked the beginning of the project and would later find its place on 'Another Time, Another Place'.
 

The EP features guitar performances from Doug Mecca of Los Angeles progressive rock/metal act Lucid Fly, who plays the solos on 'Destiny' and 'Last Day of September', and Greek guitarist Jimmy Konsta of German power metal band We Are Legend, who performs the solos on 'Remember Those Nights' and 'Searching High and Low (Remedy)'.
 

'Another Time, Another Place' received radio play across the UK, Germany and Spain, as well as coverage from Metalized Magazine (Scandinavia's oldest metal magazine) and Rock Hard Italy.

'Another Time, Another Place' was released physically as a limited-edition cassette in the summer of 2023, which is available via the shop.
